Set of 3 Kostka lamps France, 1970's/1980's De Stijl movement style Attributed to the early 20th century designs of /German architect and painter Walter Georg Kostka (1884-1970)

Set of 3 primary bright coloured table lamps heavy metal lamp bases with lightweight metal shades. Each lamp has a rocker switch on its cable

Blue lamp 74cm height, shade 31cm width

Green lamp 58cm height, shade 26cm width

Yellow lamp 52cm height, shade 21cm width all bases 10.8cm width

The lamps take small golf ball light bulbs, e14. All have their original label attached the yellow lamp has a green mark to the ball finial, shown to note

The De Stijl movement based on the fundamental principle of the geometry of the straight line, the square, and the rectangle, combined with a strong asymmetricality; the predominant use of pure primary colors with black and white; and the relationship between positive and negative elements in an arrangement of non-objective forms and lines

All our items are genuine antique/vintage pieces and therefore can have some signs of age related use or wear, this adds to the character and uniqueness of each of them.

The lights are wired and in full working order, but as with all our lighting we would always suggest they are tested by a qualified electrician
