Plaster Putto Wall Shelves Circa 1920

Stunningly detailed Italian Plaster Putto Wall Shelves, formed as two winged putto / cherubs sat amongst clouds, with a fine gesso overlay and beautifully hand painted, originally from a church to hold a santo or religious statue.

Wear commensurate to age, a wonderful pair of decorative shelves. Each plaster putto wall shelf has two metal hanging hooks to the rear.

Putto Heads are approx.: 11 cm x 11 cm (not including the wings)
