Late 19th Century Italian Carved Mirror

Beautiful late 19th Century mirror deep carved frame, heavy wood, possibly walnut, with gold and duck egg green finish probably Italian. With later glass the back bears the remains of old french newspaper, so it has travelled north in the last century. 

Original metal hanging loop to the rear of the frame, with some age related wear and decorative patina a true interiors piece
