Large Folk Art Papier Mache Moon with Face

This captivating hand-crafted folk art hanging crescent moon, its unusual three-dimensional cratered form of very large proportions, with a central face, awake on one side, asleep on the other, is a rare find.

The hand painted surface shows some signs of wear, but nothing of note. Original hanging wire loop to the top, and a length of antique chain. A truly wonderful folk art / theatrical item.
