Achingly pretty Georgian period mirror, gilt-gesso surround with reeded insert around the original mercury plate. The verre eglomise frieze of a harvest scene, with gilded edging.

The plate and frieze are in superb condition, the frame is structurally sound and shows obvious losses to the gesso, and there are two decorative floral elements missing. Circa 1800
