Fondica Gold Bird & Flowers Table Light, by Regis Dho

Bird & Flowers Table Light, designed by Regis Dho for Fondica in Gisors, France, 1980's This rare and pretty gilt plated bronze lamp depicts a small garden bird within leaves and flowers.

The flowers are set with decorative cream centres and two small insects sit upon the gilt leaves Regis Dho was born October 10, 1948 in Rabat, Morocco. He first live in France in Touraine and then moved to Paris at sixteen. A Student of Fine Arts, after three years of studying he finished his major in decorative arts. His talent allowed him to graduate as a set designer in 1969, at this point he met Pierre Cardin who immediately hired him as a stylist. The lamp is signed on a leaf near the base, Regis Dho, Fondica, Paris

The shade is a modern replacement in a natural linen tone
