Intricately carved and rare late 18th Century carved wood religious scroll, bearing the letters INRI - Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum ( Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews).

 A magnificent item of religious significance, Italian and would have once adorned a devotional statue, in wonderful time worn condition.
