Antique Trompe L'oeil Louis Philippe 'Tiger' Mirror

Beautiful 19th century Louis Philippe mirror, of small proportion, trompe l'oeil decoration in an almost Tiger fur finish. France, circa 1860.

Very unusual to find one with this type of finish, the original foxed mercury mirror plate and back boards. Tiny loss to one corner, a highly decorative item.
