An incredible Folk Art Vane or Finial, hand forged in France in the late 19th century, the huge sculpture shows a large mother hen surrounded by her chicks. We believe that this was originally placed on the top of a barn in rural France. A highly unusual and unique piece of French Folk Art.

Height 195.5 cm, Width 102 cm 

Hen is 82 cm Width, 84 cm Height, 11 cm Depth 

Chicks are each 19 cm Width, 18 cm Height 

Base is 34 cm Width at base.
