Antique Adam Style Cast Iron Urn attributed to the Carron Iron Works

An early 1800's cast iron urn after the design by Robert Adam, believed to have been forged at the Carron Iron Works, Falkirk. The lidded urn of neoclassical design in a fog blue paint and time worn patina is a wonderful example of its type.
