Exceptional Italian Hand Painted Holly Leaf Wall Sconce of Huge Scale

Stunningly detailed wall light, hand crafted holly leaves interspersed with wisteria flowers, the entire piece has been painstakingly hand-painted, in vivid natural greens, autumnal tan, browns and reddish hues.

The wisteria flowers in soft duck egg blue and dusky pink. The four gold leaf flower cups each hold a single E14 (small screw in) bulb.

This is a truly beautiful piece, when unlit it adorns the wall as a beautiful sculptural piece, and with the flick of a switch it becomes the most incredible wall light. Hand made in Italy in the 1950's, this is an outstanding mid-century lighting sculpture.

It is possible a couple of leaves have been historically lost, but it is so profusely decorated it is impossible to tell for certain.

Fully rewired and PAT tested, a fabulous addition to any interior space.
