1940's Italian Wooden Gold Sunburst Mirror

A fabulous example of a hand carved, silver and gold gilt Italian sunburst mirror, circa 1940's. The golden sunburst rays, each individually carved and superbly detailed emanate from the central circular plate mount, which is in a silver gilt finish.

The original mirror plate showing small signs of age related patina, the original paper backed holding board is still present.
