17th Century stunning antique wooden Italian chapel panel originating from central Italy, Napoli area Exceptional, highly decorative hand painted gilt renaissance pattern to the central area, the surround is embellished with an equally decorative trompe l'oeil marble effect. The gilt work continues on the beautiful inset curved beading. 

This is a stunning example of a master craftsman's fine handwork and skill
