A mid-century French gilded lead and coloured glass sunburst mirror by Irena Jaworska, circa 1960. 

An exceptional and highly collectible mid-20th-century French 'Miroir Soleil' (sunburst mirror) handcrafted by the renowned Polish-born artist and jewelry designer Irena Jaworska {1925 - 2021} . Created in Paris circa 1960, this striking sculptural piece beautifully captures the poetic modernism and artisanal renaissance of the era. Jaworska was a prominent protégé and celebrated student of the legendary French designer Line Vautrin.
