This magnificent, hand-forged 1950's Mid-Century Modern sunburst ceiling light exemplifies the masterful metalwork produced in Spain during the mid-20th century. Brilliantly straddling the line between sculptural Brutalist artistry and the opulent glamour of the Hollywood Regency style, this dramatic flush-mount light functions as a commanding piece of celestial art whether illuminated or unlit.

It features multiple layered tiers of hand-hammered, jagged iron rays that radiate outward from the centre, adding exceptional depth and dimension.

The heart of the starburst houses a frosted, glass lens that evenly diffuses light, eliminating harsh glare and bathing the surrounding metal in a warm, golden glow.

Though natively designed as a flush-mount ceiling light, it is equally striking when mounted as an architectural wall sculpture.

Offered in very good vintage condition, retaining its highly coveted, untouched gold leaf surface detailing and minor age-appropriate wear.
